Our Story
Michael founded Atlanta Canine Behavior to provide Metro Atlanta with direct access to expert, certified dog training and behavior consultation services. His number one priority is helping dogs with effective, humane training techniques, giving people confidence and peace of mind that they are doing everything they can for their furry family members.
Michael holds Certified Professional Dog Trainer (CPDT-KA) and Certified Behavior Consultant Canine (CBCC-KA) certifications from the Certification Council for Professional Dog Trainers and regularly participates in advanced continuing education on industry-leading dog training techniques.
Michael’s journey started when he was a practicing attorney in Atlanta and adopted Hazel (right), an adorable high-energy ball of fluff from the Atlanta Humane Society. Hazel offered a crash course (often literally!) in training a highly-energetic, rambunctious puppy with common youthful behaviors and a knack for getting herself into trouble. Having found his true passion, Michael happily left the law behind and committed himself to the world of dog training.
Michael Litzky has been a certified dog trainer for more than 12 years, specializing in Behavior Modification and Aggression Management Training, helping countless dogs thrive within their human families. He has experience with a comprehensive spectrum of dog behaviors and has trained with all breeds and personalities.
